Evan’s World

February -  Extended until 4th September 2010

We, at Raw Vision gallery, situated at the foot of Cape Town’s famous Devil’s Peak, are excited to announce the extension of our African Odyssey exhibition. Not only is the exhibition now running until the Beginning of September it also has addition artists such a Marina Caro, a Spanish landscape and wildlife photographer. Vincent Da Silva, a local sculptor and Nick Aldridge, also a local talent known for his striking moody portraits and sensitive nature studies.

The ‘African Odyssey’ exhibition is a homage to the incredible journey of life we all take, often reaching unexpected destinations that are beyond our wildest imaginations. Africa and its stark unadulterated beauty beckons to that part of us which is still open to discovery.

In this exhibition we aim to reflect the efforts of each artist, whilst along their paths, capture distilled moments of the many stories from within this magnificent land.

Those of us whose journeys have brought us to touch African soil cannot deny it’s power and this exhibition aims to celebrate its unquestionable place. Whether an image ignites a memory from your internal landscape or reminds you of a sacred place, this exhibition hopes to leave you feeling satisfied from a serendipitous event.

We extend a warm invitation for you to take a virtual journey into Africa

by visiting the gallery at your own leisure. We are showing the first 5 of

our 20 internationally acclaimed fine art photographers at Raw Vision Gallery with destinations and themes being rotated during the course of this incredible African journey.
